At the strike of midnight on June 3rd, Dave East officially turned 29 in a room filled with friends and loved ones. Hours later, the Def Jam rapper hit the road and entered a South Florida state of mind to continue his birthday celebration in Miami. #EastWeekend officially klcked off on a two-story yacht in Downtown Miami with a slew of exclusive guests and his familia.
East partnered with 99 JAMZ, The NOUS Agency, Deleon Tequila, Ciroc and more to put on the perfect pre-game for the Harlem rapper’s weekend of sleepless nights. With Poe Boy Music Group’s DJ Smokey and DJ Amanda Blaze holding down the DJ booth, East got all the way live with Trina, singers like Paloma Ford and Emjay, ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ stars Shay Johnson and Ariane Davis, 99 JAMZ’ on-air personalities like Supa Cindy and Big Mack plus many more.

The New York rapper is no stranger to Dade County. During Art Basel 2016, the Kairi Chanel rapper was up in the club with Diddy and Nas at Rockwell. Since then, he has hosted for other major clubs like STORY, but he had to go all out for his birthday weekend.
After his sea voyage around Downtown, East took his talents over the bridge to South Beach where the party raged on at Cameo nightclub. #EastWeekend lasted all weekend with events at other clubs like IVY in South Beach on Sunday and, of course, King Of Diamonds on Monday with Jadakiss and Lil Cease.
