Singer Demi Lovato saw her social mentions collapse in front of her on Thursday evening (June 16) after sharing her thoughts on Mariah Carey.
The drama began when Demi commented on a meme comparing Ariana Grande to Mariah, with Ariana becoming the butt of the joke.
Granted it’s known both singers don’t acknowledge one another, despite Ariana’s praise of Mariah early in her career. After Demi was accused of being a bully and shading Mariah, the singer clarified her comments by accusing the legendary singer of being mean to fellow singers like Jennifer Lopez.
As B. Scott points out, Mariah didn’t make the meme and the user who reposted it didn’t have an issue with either of the singers.
Of course, this didn’t stop said user and the rest of the web from sharing their own thoughts on Demi.
