Desiigner (Sidney Royel Selby III) was reportedly arrested Thursday night (Sept 8) in New York City after an alleged road rage incident between a car he was riding in and another vehicle.
According to TMZ, the Brooklyn rapper was hit with felony gun and drug charges — along with four other passengers in the car.
Police tell the website a passenger in the other vehicle called 911 and reported that Desiigner had pointed a gun at them. After law enforcement tracked down the car, they say Oxycontin and other drugs were found in the center console.
The 5 passengers were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell. Desiigner was reportedly also charged with felony criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing.
At press time, Desiigner and company were still being held in police custody
