For his 49th birthday, Diddy did something that’s probably more terrifying than that surprise clown on Ellen. The famed music executive skydived for the first time to launch his birthday on Sunday (Nov. 4).
In a couple of Instagram videos, the New Yorker said this was a moment he’s been thinking about since the top of this year. “I’m going to jump out of a plane and attempt to land two houses down in the backyard of the Playboy mansion,” he said before giving a nod to Lil Duval’s hit song by stating, “I’m living my best life.” Diddy then recognized Will Smith who previously had a fulfilling skydiving moment.

A few months ago, Smith produced a short video of the time he skydived in Dubai. The veteran actor shared what the moment taught him about conquering fears in a lengthy but inspiring statement.
“In one second you realize that it’s the most blissful experience of your life. You’re flying. There’s zero fear. You realize that the point of maximum danger is the point of minimum fear. The lesson for me was why were you scared in your bed the night before? What do you need that fear for? Everything up to the stepping out, there’s actually no reason to be scared. And then in that moment all of a sudden when you should be terrified is the most blissful experience of your life. And God placed the best things in life on the other side of fear.”
In September 2018, Smith also bungee jumped from a helicopter into the Grand Canyon to celebrate his 50th birthday.
