
Don C., the designer and owner of Just Don, teamed up with Rémy Martin for a project that celebrates basketball culture.
“Just Rémy” is a capsule collection designed by Don C. that is slated to showcase both him and the liquor brand’s “unparalleled prowess and superior craftsmanship in the world of lifestyle,” according to a press release. It will be released in a 1738 Sneaker Box patterned after the signature snakeskin designs seen on Just Don pieces. Inside the box will be a bottle of the premium Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal with branded “Just Rémy.”
The collection launches with the debut of the limited-edition 1738 Sneaker Box ($60), which will be available at retail nationally. The multi-piece series will stretch from this month until February with a new item released in a new market each month.
“Just Rémy” was celebrated in a launch party at Fulton Market Kitchen in Chicago, Ill.
“Rémy Martin has been a cultural icon for me and my community growing up on the South side of Chicago, and I’m honored to partner with a brand that has been such a big part of my history,” said the Chicago tastemaker in a press statement.
“Just Rémy” kicks off The Collector’s Series, a program that sees Rémy Martin collaborating with leading lifestyle brands and designers.
