It’s hard to believe, but after over eight years, it’ll be time to say goodbye to President Barack Obama and his family come January 2017.
Comedian Jevin Smith and his family wanted to let the Obamas know that they’re not quite ready to say goodbye, and the way they showed their love for the first family has garnered over 2 million views.
The Smith family took the ’96 heartbreak tune, Blackstreet’s “Don’t Leave Me,” and called their parody tune “Don’t Leave Obama.” It pretty much sums up how many of us are feeling about the first family’s imminent departure.
From choreography in front of an Oval Office backdrop to heavy amounts of autotune, this is a rock solid effort by the Smith family, and the lyrics definitely sum up some of the emotions we’ve been going through.
