Two of New York’s major radio stations, Hot 97FM and Power 105.1FM have been feuding for years. However, things may have reached a new low when Ebro Darden took to the air to clown Charlamagne Tha God for what he believes is his over zealous desire to be accepted by the mainstream.
Charlamagne, who is no stranger to controversy, side eyes, or Internet hate, has merited new criticism after being seen around Manhattan with conservative talk show host, Tomi Lahren. Lahren was in New York filming a segment for Trevor Noah’s The Daily Show and was originally scheduled to appear on “The Breakfast Club,” as Charlamagne on appeared on her show “The Blaze” back in February defending Beyonce’s SuperBowl Halftime performance.
Although Lahren canceled her “Breakfast Club” interview, a picture of the 24-year-old smiling with Charlamagne rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, including Hot 97FM talking head Peter Rosenberg who took to Twitter to call out Noah and Charlamagne for their association with Lahren.

On Tuesday (Dec. 6) Ebro continued Rosenberg’s thoughts by attacking Charlamagne’s on-air name, his skin bleaching and his desire for acceptance.
#PressPlay #Ebro isn’t here for #Charlamagne 😩

Ouch! Do you think Charlamagne is just doing his job? Or does Ebro actually have a point? Sound off.
