Last month marked 33 years since Eddie Murphy’s Delirious comedy special premiered on HBO, and he could (finally) be ready for a return to the stage.
Murphy pondered the idea on Jimmy Kimmel Live Friday (Sept. 9) during a talk about winning the Mark Twain Prize, and joking about Bill Cosby in his speech. Kimmel asked Murphy if he’d be willing to hop back on the stand-up comedy circuit, and he didn’t exactly say no.
“I might,” Murphy revealed. “I haven’t done it in so long, I’m curious now — so much has changed — what would even come out? I don’t know what I would even be like.”
The 55-year-old comedian also explains why he doesn’t have a computer, an email address or a Twitter account, and does a solid Tracy Morgan impression.
