Maurice Levy, the CEO of Publicis Groupe, a global marketing and advertising company that’s based in Paris, told a crowd at MIPTV that the photo’s value is worth an insane amount of bread because of the enormous amount of times it was shared across the Internet.
After DeGeneres live-tweeted the selfie from the Oscars that had other A-list stars in it such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence, and Julia Roberts, over 37 million people all across the world peeped it. Levy’s team was the mastermind behind the history-making product placement on the Samsung phone.
The Oscar flick was named the most RT-ed photo of all time, surpassing President Obama’s “Four more years” pic with himself and First Lady Michelle Obama after being re-electing for president.
