The hustle never stops. An aspiring Florida rapper by the name of Volvique Louis Jean Jr. handed a police officer a copy of his latest mixtape instead of his I.D. after getting pulled over, according to Music Times.
The Sunshine State’s 18-year-old MC was pulled over on suspicion of reckless driving on Oct. 28, 2015, after his vehicle and two other cars were seen speeding by his former school, Atlantic Community High School in Delray Beach, Fla., where they almost hit a few students leaving the building.
The cars were followed by cops in a golf cart, where they were soon stopped. When Jean Jr. was asked for his driver’s license, which was suspended, he pulled out the next best alternative: his homemade mix CD. After the cop was handed the CD, Jean Jr. and his comrades fled the scene, almost hitting more students during his peel out. He was finally found on Wednesday, Jan. 13, arrested and charged for fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license and trespassing on school grounds, according to the Sun Sentinel.
There was no mention of the mixtape’s title or if the cop decided to give it a listen, but you can come up with your own conclusions.
