Footaction’s Style Means series has already gone West with YG and included ScHoolboy Q in its Man Of The year viral campaign. Now, the apparel and sneaker retailer is linking up with Grammy Award winning producer Hit-Boy in their latest Styles Mean project.
“It was awesome. They let me be me and stay in my element,” the 27-year-old producer says of the collaboration. “It was an easy blend. We really hung out and had real conversations because it was about me. [Footaction] stands for music, they stand for culture, and they stand for style. All the same things I stand for.”
When approached by Footaction for the campaign, Hit says it was a no-brainer. “I actually shop there. On my trips, I’d probably cop a fresh tee every time. I mean, I just copped some Adidas from [Footaction] recently [laughs]. Put that together and get on my fresh, ’90s Cali swag one time.”
