Troubled Bad Boy rapper G. Dep recently spoke to Nightline from behind bars about his life since he confessed to murder over a year ago. The rapper, Trevall Coleman, seemed to be in a better place and has since kicked his addiction to PCP.
“That was the only way I could have been absolve,” G-Dep said about turning himself to police after more than 20 years since he committed the crime.
At the age of 19, Dep shot and killed John Henkel in a failed robbery attempt. However, he kept quiet about the killing and lived his life with the secret eating away at his soul. He eventually came to a breaking point in 2012 and turned himself in to authorities. The rapper and father of three now says he feels more at piece with himself.
