Seemingly out of nowhere G-Eazy and Machine Gun Kelly are at odds. With the surprise release of Eminem’s new surprise album, Kamikaze, there’s something in the air. It also doesn’t help that the veteran rapper dissed MGK on it, along with a slew of others in the hip-hop game. But the beef between MGK and G-Eazy seems like it’s a lot deeper than rap. And more personal with the confirmation, rumor or assumption that Eazy’s ex-girlfriend Halsey may be caught in the middle of it.
Take a scroll through MGK’s Instagram, and you’ll peep a picture of him and Halsey spending time together on a beach somewhere in March of 2017. In April of that year, there is another shot of them hanging out in a group setting. On the beach image, IG users made it a point to tag G-Eazy in the comment section. Even if Halsey and the Ohio rapper are just friends, it’s easy to see why the speculations and rumors would arise.
More than a year later, after breaking up with the Bay Area rapper, Halsey confirmed on Twitter that her and MGK certainly are not dating, Billboard reports. The same picture of them on the beach on MGK’s IG surfaced on Twitter, which led the masses to infer that the two were recently together. But she shut those rumors down, explaining that she is on tour, not on a beach.

Still, a month later, the beef is still brewing with accusations of Eazy stealing a blonde dye job from MGK to Halsey’s name remaining stuck like molasses in the mix. Earlier Friday (August 31) G-Eazy dropped the new track, “Bad Boy,” where he calls out MGK:
“Your shots just graze me, I’m standing, they put a hole in me I answer to no one, nobody can get control of me/MGK please stop trolling me, get over me/You wanna be me, you’re mad that you’re not as big as me/I’m everywhere, I’m your nightmare, you can’t get rid of me. “

Hours later, MGK’s freestyle on Funk Master Flex dropped online. And of course, there was mention of Eazy. He also alludes to having sex with Eazy’s girlfriend; most can infer he’s talking about Halsey
“Only Eazy I fuck with is with is E… I fucked his girl/Now he looks like this shit is overbearing/How dare him, I dare him/Don’t think about comparing/Now turn that frat rap off I get sick of hearing,” he raps.

And then of course, there’s more of the blonde dye job. In July, MGK tweeted about the “stolen look” without calling out anyone in particular.
