According to the Chicago Sun-Times, 22-year-old rapper and member of Chief Keef’s Glo Gang, succumbed to fatal gunshot injuries on Saturday (July 11).
Capo, legal name Marvin Carr, was shot in the back and hip during a shootout in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago. Glo gang’s manager Renaldo Hess reported that the shooting was a possible drive-by and gang-related attack targeted at the Chi-Town emcee. After being sent to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital, he was pronounced dead the following morning (July 12).

“He was a good kid. The streets of Chicago is something,” Hess told the Times. “He was murdered. I don’t understand what is going on with all these kids.”
Police are also investigating the death of one-year-old Dillan Harris in connection to the shootout, who was struck by a fleeing vehicle after the shooting. Dillan and his mother were waiting for a bus on the corner of a Chicago street when the vehicle fatally struck the infant while he was in his stroller.
Capo’s death follows close behind the release of Chief Keef’s “Ain’t Missing You,” a tribute to another fallen Glo Gang member, Big Glo, who was also gunned down last April.
Several family and friends sent love and condolences to the fallen rapper, including Lil Durk:
Two men have been apprehended in the connection of Capo’s death so far. Authorities have not yet released statements for further details to the incident.
