What happens when you link pimped out club rapper Pitbull with drop dead gorgeous songbird Havana Brown to make a bass-driven dance track? It sells over 1,000,000 records.
“We Run The Night” has received the music industry’s coveted Platinum® Award for exceeding 1,000,000 record sales in the United States. This is the first Platinum® selling single for 2101 Records in the USA, a joint venture with Universal Music, which was founded in 2010 by multi Grammy-winning producer, musician, and songwriter, RedOne.
“We Run The Night” was released in April 2011 as Havana Brown’s debut single, and has garnered multi-Platinum® recognition internationally. A reproduction of the Australian singer/DJ’s single “We Run The Night,” featuring Pitbull, also reached number one on Billboard’s Dance Club Chart and completed the longest climb up Billboard’s Top 40 chart in14 years, the third-longest overall.
Brown, who is currently on tour with Pitbull, is expected to release her next hit single “You’ll Be Mine,” featuring EDM producer and remix savant, R3hab in the coming weeks.
