Donald Trump supporters face backlash, physical attacks, and being dropped from speaking engagements, according to Herschel Walker.
The retired NFL player claims remaining loyal to the Republican presidential hopeful is affecting his schedule.
“I have a lot of people cancel speaking engagements because of my relationship with Donald,” Walker told TMZ Sports before defending Trump’s controversial rhetoric.
“First of all I’ve known Donald before he became ’The Donald,’ and Donald is not a racist,” Walker insisted. “Just because you want to build a wall doesn’t make you a racist.”
Since joining the presidential campaign trail last year, Trump has managed to offend millions with statements deemed racist, sexist, and xenophobic.
Current events seem to be sore spot for Trump as well. Following his arrival in Scotland, the 70-year-old mogul implied that the country voted to leave the EU, which isn’t actually true.

Besides the Twitter flub, Trump is facing protests in Scotland over his comments about Mexicans.
Scotland citizens welcomed @realDonaldTrump by raising Mexican flags. As a Mexican, I approve! #DumpTrump pic.twitter.com/TI7AAJUBif
