It’s that time of the year again!
VIBE magazine is seeking editorial and social media interns with strong backgrounds in writing and a serious interest in music & entertainment to join the NYC team.
Basic Information
Editorial interns will be researching stories, running errands, pitching and writing stories for VIBE.com and transcribing interviews. Interns will also have the opportunity to conduct interviews with visiting artists.
Social media interns will be assisting the community manager with upcoming campaigns, scheduling content, engaging with VIBE followers/readers on social media platforms while driving traffic to VIBE.com. Candidate must be detail-oriented and active on social media. A background in Photoshop is preferred, but not required.

Editorial Internship: Send your cover letter, résumé and 2 to 4 clips to intern@vibe.com, with “Editorial Intern” in the subject area. Applicants without published clips are encouraged to submit music-related pieces (reviews or news stories) of their own.
Social Media Internship: Send your cover letter, résumé to intern@vibe.com, with “Social Media Intern” in the subject area. Include your experience level with Photoshop and links to your personal social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook & Instagram).
The application deadline is December 15.

VIBE employs interns during its Spring (January to May), Summer (June to August), and Fall (September to December) programs. Interns work 16-24 hours per week (two or three full days) and will receive college credit. All internship positions are not remote and are completed on-site at our New York office in Manhattan. VIBE does not provide housing or travel assistance.
