Jeremih’s previous DUI charge has surfaced again, but for a reason that might be in the R&B singer’s favor. TMZ reports that the “Planes” crooner reportedly took a plea deal, which places him on a two year probation and he must take a mandatory education program on drugs and alcohol.
Following his birthday celebration on July 17, the Chi-town native was pulled over and apprehended for DUI. The occurrence happened in San Fernando Valley, Calif. around 2 a.m. where highway patrol arrested the 28-year-old artist and charged him with a misdemeanor. Now it looks like Jeremih can put his legal woes behind him and continue to focus on the music.
Fans are still awaiting the release of his project Late Nights: The Album, which was reportedly slated to drop earlier this year. So far, singles that have lived on the radio include “oui,” “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” and the J. Cole-assisted cut “Planes,” which just went certified platinum.
There are a few dates floating around concerning the album, one being Dec. 4 according to Deezer, but nevertheless it’ll probably be worth the wait.
