
Drake’s VIEWS album has received mixed reactions since its debut last week. There are those who say it’s a great album while others feel Drizzy leaned too heavily on his past encounters.
Writers across the spectrum of publications and listeners shared their reviews of the Toronto native’s latest musical effort, including fellow rapper Joe Budden who used his podcast platform to share his opinion.
The New Jersey native said that lyrics-wise, Drake sounds “uninspired,” and Noah “40” Shebib, who was a central producer on this soundscape, continues to elevate his craft with each instrumental, but “Drake, you do not.”
