The music world has contributed to countless half time shows for the Super Bowl over the years.
As expected, Pepsi and the NFL decided to return the favor for the biggest night in music this year.. While promoting their own Super Bowl half time show featuring Bruno Mars, Pepsi hosted a mini-concert from the likes of Terry Bradshaw, Deion Sanders, Shannon Sharpe, Mathew Stafford and Mike Ditka in a 2 and a half minute long commercial that aired last night during The Grammys.
Super Bowl Champion Deion Sanders belted out an auto-tuned ballad which Bradshaw cuts short when he comes in and kicks off a pyrotechnic country rock show. Only until Sharpe grabs the stage Kanye West style, spitting some bars while clips of Kim Kardshian played by New York Jets player Nick Mangold, are shown on the big screen. It was a total re-make of the infamous motorcycle scene from Yeezy’s ‘Bound 2’ video.
Detroit Lions player Mathew Stafford then comes in with an electronic pop light show, only to lead to the group joining together and singing in unison while Ditka channels his inner Miley as he swings across the stage on a football shaped wrecking ball.
