There are some new emotions stirring in Kanye West ‘s soul, the rapper revealed via Instagram on Thursday (Sept. 20).
“I just wanted to address some things that are not sitting right in my spirits now that I’m up out the sunken place” stated the “Bound 2” rapper before attacking his first victim. Setting the tone for the rest of the rant, West begins by asking Nick Cannon not to speak on his wife. “I understand that you used to date my wife but, you know, [if] you get in an interview, don’t mention my wife.”
For those who don’t know, Kanye is referring to Cannon’s latest feature on Complex’s “Everyday Struggle,” when the Wild’n Out creator chose to amp up the alleged beef between Kanye and Drake over some controversial lyrics.
When Drake’s “In My Feelings” took over airways this summer, fans were quick to attempt to decipher who Drake’s beloved KiKi was. Jumping from rumor to rumor, the social media filled rabbit-hole finally landed on Kim Kardashian, who’s nickname is apparently also KiKi. Kim has denied the rumors but Drake hasn’t voiced his thoughts on who the real KiKi is, leaving many in the peanut gallery.
Though West and Drake previously squashed the beef surrounding Pusha T, Kanye evidently had a new bone to pick with 6 God.
“The fact that there are people thinking that and making rumors that you f**ked my wife and you not saying nothing and carrying like it like that, that doesn’t sit well with my spirit” continued Kanye. According to the Chi-Town native, Drake is way “too smart” to be ignoring these allegations, when he’s the one fueling them.
“It’s like don’t speak on nobody from my family, nothing that could even be mentioned with my wife, period,” said Kanye, referring to a Scorpion throw-away track that allegedly name-dropped Kim’s sister’s Kylie and Kendall.
Finally ending with Tyson Beckford, Kanye simply asks everyone to personally confront him, work out a resolution and stop promoting negativity.
