Kanye West will say what he wants, when he wants, and doesn’t care how anyone feels about it, and he did just that after a three-song set when the Saint Pablo tour rolled through Sacramento Saturday night. (Nov.19) Yet the real show began when Mr. West ranted (per usual) and spoke aggressively about his one time comrades Beyonce and Jay Z.
“Beyonce, I was hurt cause I heard you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of The Year over me, and over “Hotline Bling.” Yeezy said to a packed crowd. “Now don’t go trying to diss Beyonce. She is great. Taylor Swift is great we are all great people, we are all great people but sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forget who we are just to win. F**k winning. F**k looking cool. F**k looking cool. F**k all that bruh.”
As the crowd cheered, the “Fade” artist then turned his frustration to his one-time friend and big brother, Jay Z. West, for a second time, placed Hov on front street and accused him of not calling after the Paris incident with his wife. Still angry over not hearing from Mr. Carter, West in one breath asked Jay Z to spare his life and then in another demanded he “talk to him like a man.”
“I been sent here to give y’all my truth even at the risk of my own life. Even at the risk of my own success. My own career. I’ve been sent here to give y’all the truth.” West said. “Jay Z, call me bruh! You still ain’t call me. Jay Z call me. Ay bruh, I know you got killers please don’t send ’em at my head, just call me. Talk to me like a man.”
While fans paid for tickets to see Kanye West perform his string of classic hits, they didn’t realize the bulk of the show would be of West ranting. The audience, understandably vex that they didn’t get the show they paid for, took too Twitter to “vent.”
Y’all gone learn to stop spending money on these artists who have no respect for your cons. #SaintPabloTour

People paid a lot for what they thought would be a show. Give them their money back bc they can’t get their time back. #SaintPabloTour

The few songs he did perform were great, feel bad for all of his fans that spent lots of money on merch/travel expenses. #SaintPabloTour
