Just 24 hours after the release his highly-anticipated album The Life of Pablo, Kanye West has let his Twitter fingers fly once again, this time taking aim at mainstream music publications.
As the stars began to walk the red carpet for the 2016 Grammys, Mr. West asked Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and the New York Times to refrain from writing anything further about black music.
The system is designed for colored people to fail and one of our only voices is music. One of our only ways out is music.

I love love love white people but you don’t understand what it means to be the great grandson of ex slaves and make it this far.

To Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, New York Times, and any other white publication. Please do not comment on black music anymore. — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) February 15, 2016
Kanye West has been rather vocal on Twitter as of late, going as far as letting fans know he’s $53 million in personal debt and even asking Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to invest in his ideas.
Mr. West then proved his loyalty to Tidal and let fans know he has a total of 80 songs, 40 with Kendrick Lamar and another 40 with Young Thug that will all be released on the artist-owned streaming service.
My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale… You can only get it on Tidal.
