Kendall Jenner doesn’t want any dirt on her name.
News broke that the 18-year-old allegedly threw money at a waitress, Blaine Morris of MTV’s Skins, after being denied alcohol at New York City’s Mercer Kitchen. Kendall and her lunch partner Hailey Baldwin played the old dine-and-dash trick when Morris caught up with the two to demand payment.
Morris took to Twitter to publicize what happened next stating, “That horrible moment you chase a Kardashian down the street because she forgot to pay her bill to be thrown money in your face.”
Kendall also took to Twitter yesterday (Aug. 13), in an attempt to clear her name typing, “These rumors r absolutely ridiculous! I would never throw money in anyone’s face or act that disrespectfully. I was raised better than that,” she said.
The burgeoning model also brought in the big guns, hiring attorney Martin Singer to draw up a cease-and-desist letter against the claims that Kendall believes to be “false, fabricated and defamatory.”
Singer does confirm that Baldwin and Jenner did walk out on the bill, but Kendall handed Morris $40 for their $33 tab. “Although you are working as a waitress…I understand that you are also a struggling actress whose credits include a handful of television appearances,” Singer continued. “You no doubt concocted a fictionalized account of your encounter with my client in order to create publicity for yourself and raise your own public profile.”
Morris’ tweet has since been deleted.
