Actress Keshia Knight Pulliam found herself living in a real life House of Payne, and she’s had enough.
During an interview with Nischelle Turner on Entertainment Tonight, the Cosby Show star addressed the rumors of infidelity surrounding her divorce from soon-to-be ex-husband, former NFL player Ed Hartwell. She says that she has never been unfaithful to her husband, but he couldn’t seem to keep his loving to himself.
“Early on in my marriage when I was faced with this, I was ready to leave,” she said. “In the process, I found out I was pregnant. And I had to take another hard look and decide if I wanted to work through this and forgive him for the sake of the child. Like, I had divorce papers ready. I presented it to him. …Once I was pregnant I did decide to give him that one last chance.”
But it seems Hartwell squandered his last chance since the couple are facing divorce again. Pulliam says that her only regret is not believing Hartwell when he showed her who he was the first time.
“I love who he pretended to be,” she said.
