Kevin Hart’s ever-expanding empire just received a new addition. In an interview with Variety, the famed comedian revealed that he has plans to launch a streaming service in partnership with Lionsgate.
Titled “Laugh Out Loud,” the new entertainment outlet will host a wide range of content produced by Hart, and popular creators on social media such as Logan Paul. A new series from Hart where he poses as an undercover Lyft driver on hidden-camera will also premiere on the video-on-demand service, which is set to debut this fall.
“Lionsgate has always been a great partner of mine, and I’m more than excited to take our business and creative relationship to new levels…,” Hart said. “I understand the direction in which the television business is headed, and I see this big new space toward which audiences are starting to gravitate. I believe that launching this venture together now puts us ahead of the pack.”
This news arrives a few weeks after Hart announced that he’s working on a memoir on his life, including his divorce, his rise to comedic stardom, and his father’s battle with drug addiction.
