KFC has collaborated with Blink Digital to create a chicken box that charges your smartphone.
The limited edition offering is launching only in India’s Mumbai and Dehli. Each customer doesn’t receive one, but a few lucky winners at those locations will receive the 5-in-1 box which comes with chicken and a power bank, complimentary USB cord included.
The box is launching in efforts to draw in customers in India, as the KFC there has gotten mixed reviews. Other companies, like Pizza Hut, have offered similar tech-savvy offerings to engage customers and garner some serious social media discussion.
Unfortunately, the box has been reviewed and it doesn’t charge your phone quickly or fast, but it does make for a great Instagram moment.
