As Piers Morgan and Azealia Banks have shown us, Beyonce’s Lemonade is not for everyone, and rapper Khia (known for that one hit “My Neck, My Back”) joins that list of the album’s haters. During an interview for an Internet radio station in Atlanta, Khia completely eviscerates the visual album.
“F**k her,” the Thug Misses said about the superstar. “First of all, the video was tired, and through, and long and it made black people look bad as hell. B*tch, you waking around with this blonde long a** hair, but you want African queens and kings in your video.” She also continued to throw shade at tennis megastar Serena Williams, who made an appearance in the “Sorry” portion of the visual.
“[Had] Serena Williams as her g**damn jester, dancing and stripping for her,” she continued. “I can’t believe Serena got on there and was Beyonce’s prop, twerking in a body suit in this long a**, black, slave a** video. Here you is, black as a black juicy berry, and you getting in front of this hoe and letting her have her legs gapped open in the chair, while you twerking for her like the slaves masters had us doing.”
She continued to add WD-40 to the flame by posting snippets of the interview to her Instagram page with some “colorful” captions. One read, “Why was Serena humping on the floor? After all the years of tennis training with her father, how in the hell did she end up on the floor stripping for behosay?”
This would not be the first time Khia had it out for Beyonce. In 2013, she went on a Twitter rant against Bey and the Hive, writing that Beyonce only cares about her fans’ money and that she’s unoriginal. Naturally, the Beyhive stung, but she still unfased.
