For years, the Scream Tour has been the branded event that grabbed all of the preteens and teenyboppers attention with their heartthrob acts and show-stopping headliners. But it’s 2015, and that’s so 10 years ago. Now, the new and improved event will now be titled Scream Tour: The Reintroduction Tour. The tour’s creative Michael Mauldin joined forces with Live Nation and grabbed Dej Loaf and Kid Ink on the headlining bill. The 24-city road trip begins in March in St. Louis and hits the biggies such as Dej’s hometown of Detroit, Los Vegas, New York City, Houston, Atlanta, Miami and makes its grand finale stop in April in Minneapolis. “I’m excited to be a part of the reintroduction of such a prestigious touring brand as Scream,” Kid Ink told Billboard. “It’s a brand I grew up respecting and admiring. I can’t wait to hit the road and get this started.” It was rumored the Jeremih would be joining Kid Ink and Dej on this tour, but he quickly shut that down via Twitter.
