Kyle Massey of That’s So Raven fame, has been sued for allegedly sending explicit texts, videos and photos to a minor.
People Magazine reports the 27-year-old was named in a lawsuit issued on Friday (March 15) that accused the actor-rapper of “sending explicit matter to a minor, attempting to commit a lewd act with a minor, annoying or molesting a minor and emotional distress.” The incident between Massey and a 13-year-old girl happened in December 2018.
Court documents highlighted their working relationship which began when Massey met the aspiring actress and her mother when she was four-years-old. They kept in contact over the years as the mom claims Massey “held himself out as a father figure” to her daughter and had interests in helping get her career off the ground.
In November 2018, the teen reached out to Massey about auditioning for a reboot of his spinoff series Cory in the House.
Since the teen was from Seattle, the actor opened his home in Los Angeles he shared with his girlfriend Hana Girald to her. In December 2018, the actor then sent the girl graphic text messages and requested her on Snapchat where he sent video of his erect penis and a message that reads, “‘LOL/Just me messing with u LOL.'” The court documents also claim Massey was well aware of her age as there were statements that made it clear she was in the 8th grade.
The family is seeking $1.5 million in damages.
Massey hasn’t responded to suit. His latest social media postings are dedications to Girald who celebrated her birthday this week.
