The Ghostbusters remake has had fans of the throwback buzzing for months in anticipation. As the premiere steadily approaches, it seems that Saturday Night Live star and co-leading lady of the film, Leslie Jones, is having trouble securing a dress for the red carpet. She expressed her frustrations in a tweet Tuesday afternoon (June 28).
It’s so funny how there are no designers wanting to help me with a premiere dress for movie. Hmmm that will change and I remember everything

Luckily, fashion designer and Project Runway alum Christian Siriano saw Jones’ distress and swooped in for the save.

“I love Leslie and can’t wait to make her something fabulous to wear,” Siriano told TIME in an e-mail. “I dress and support women of all ages and sizes.” Jones has not yet revealed the names of the designers who are giving her the cold shoulder, but she doesn’t plan to forget the unkindness.
Hmm what a difference a tweet makes. Should I name the designers that didn’t look out?Put y’all ass on blast. You will not get my love later — Leslie Jones (@Lesdoggg) June 29, 2016
One stylist caught word of Jones’ complaints and felt the need to add her two cents. Jessica Paster, stylist for Emily Blunt, Miranda Kerr and Olivia Munn placed the blame squarely on Jones’ own shoulders.
“This is nobody’s fault except Leslie’s,” Paster says. “She should have known four to five months ago the date of the premiere and said, ‘I’m not a sample size. I need to go to designers early or buy myself a dress.’ Don’t be blaming designers and saying they don’t like you.” Ghostbusters will hit theaters July 15.
