As N.W.A basked in their glory while being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, 300 Entertainment Founder Lyor Cohen was rushed to the hospital during the festivities following a pulmonary embolism. The blockage to his artery in lungs could’ve been fatal, but according to Cohen, it was his son Norm who saved his life.
“If it wasn’t for my son, and my best friend Norm, I would have been a goner. “There’s actually nothing I could do. Anybody could get it. It’s a little blood clot that goes right up the body into the lungs and heart.”
Cohen took to his own Snapchat to deliver the news and also attributed his recovery to getting to the hospital quickly and his workout regimen.
Glad you’re okay, Cohen.
