Madame Tussauds is preparing to launch a new interactive feature that’ll send goosebumps down your spine. The New York-based establishment announced plans to debut a virtual reality experience centered around the popular film Ghostbusters.
Titled Ghostbusters: Dimension, patrons will be able to immerse themselves in various settings of the movie, which will pull its VR creations from the forthcoming reboot that’ll hit theaters this summer (July 15).
On July 1, attendees will be able to witness the attraction ahead of the motion picture’s release. Ivan Reitman, creator of Ghostbusters, said in a press statement how innovative and groundbreaking this partnership will be.
“Ghostbusters has an incredible, passionate fan following, and now VR technology allows the fans to become a Ghostbuster themselves within Madame Tussauds New York,” he said. “The technology is breathtaking, the experience is thrilling, and what better way is there to use VR, than to let audiences inhabit the stories they love,” said Ghostbusters creator Ivan Reitman in a press statement.”
