Her new album is called The Art of Letting Go, but R&B Diva Mariah Carey doesn’t plan on doing that to her music career any time soon.
She announced that her first album in five years is slated to be released on May 6 via Instagram.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, the artwork for her new single “You’re Mine (Eternal)” is cutesy with the song’s title etched into Sweetheart candies. The love note made its debut at the 2014 BET Honors ceremony in Washington, D.C. this past weekend, where Mimi also channeled Jessica Rabbit with an eye-popping black number that put her “girls” on display.
Wale, Nas, Rick Ross, Hit Boy and Mike Will Made It have all been enlisted for Carey’s upcoming effort, which will be executive produced by her longtime collaborator Jermaine Dupri.
