Baltimore City State Attorney Marilyn Mosby has gotten a lot of flack lately for the charges she’s implemented on the six officers responsible for Freddie Gray’s death.
And now she’s taking more heat for attending Prince’s “Rally 4 Peace” show, which was held in Baltimore last Sunday (May 10). Mosby claims the tickets to the concert were a gift for Mother’s Day, but those over at Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor feel Mosby had another agenda in mind.
During a recent episode of the show on Monday (May 11), Megyn Kelly expressed that Mosby’s attendance to Prince’s concert was “totally inappropriate,” and that “she had no business being there.”
O’Reilly then backed up Kelly’s statement in saying: “Ms. Mosby is running the most unprofessional office I have ever seen in my life, she’s unprofessional, she’s biased, she’s representing the tax payers of Maryland.”

“It’s not like we didn’t know where Prince was coming at this from. She’s supposed to be a professional so that she’s above this all, so she is above reproach. So far, so bad Ms. Mosby,” Kelly added.
In addition to facing scrutiny from the media, the state attorney also caught backlash from none other than Mark O’Mara, George Zimmerman’s legal counsel who successfully defended him during his trial.
“If she wants to prosecute cops, that’s a gargantuan task in itself. If she’s going to be the standard in which we prosecute police, then do it responsibly, don’t open yourself to undue criticism,” O’ Mara declared. “A lot of lawyers are probably asking, why are you on stage with Prince – why aren’t you working?”
In a nutshell, Mosby is being blamed for engaging in a conflict of interest. Many feel she should focus solely on the case. Do you think Mosby is playing fair game?
