To prepare the masses for his fourth studio album, Championships (Nov. 30), Meek Mill decided to take his latest “Oodles O’ Noodles Babies” track out of the studio and onto Jimmy Fallon’s late night stage.
The Philadelphia native recalls the dark moments of his upbringing from impoverished neighborhoods to facing the unforgiving criminal justice system on his latest musical offering. “I named it that because we grew up in poverty,” he said toward the end of the track. “We spent breakfast, lunch and dinner eating oodles and noodles, our whole childhood life.”

The new tune didn’t arrive alone, though. The “Amen” rapper decided to bless fans with a double dosage of what he’s cooking in the studio when he released “Uptown Vibes” featuring Anuel AA and Fabolous, produced by Nick Papz. It’s a quick change of pace from the song Meek performed on Fallon, with lyrical delivery just as rapid as the instrumental.
Championships serves as the follow-up to 2017’s Wins & Losses soundscape. The project featured Chris Brown, Young Thug, Rick Ross, Lil Uzi Vert, Teyana Taylor and more.
