Metta World Peace is definitely content with the news he just received. Formerly known as Ron Artest, the overseas pro-basketball player took to his Twitter account earlier today (Dec. 26) to sing Nicki Minaj’s praises after he realized his fellow Queens native name-dropped his alias on one of her songs. That track in particular is titled “Trini Dem Girls” featuring LunchMoney Lewis where the YMCMB spitter says, “He in love with a ghetto girl, he said he want a piece like Metta World,” thus sending Artest into a frenzy.
The melody is featured on Minaj’s third studio effort, The Pinkprint, which hit the number one spot on the Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart this week.
