When it comes to his career, Michael Ealy opts to let his work do all the talking.
“I don’t live my life in a social way,” the newest Being Mary Jane star told Wendy Williams in 2014. “I don’t put everything out on social media. I don’t live that reality lifestyle. At the same time, I’ve always been private, ever since I was in high school.”
While the veteran actor has succeeded in keeping his personal life under wraps, he opted not to stay mum in the wake of political turmoil. Taking to Instagram to share a rare photo with his Afghan-American wife Khatira Rafiqzada on Friday (Feb. 3), the same day a federal judge temporarily blocked Donald Trump’s executive order on immigration, Ealy promoted a concise yet clear message: #NoMuslimBan.
According to the Washington Post, a federal appeals court will hear arguments on whether to reinstate the president’s executive order, which bars refugees and immigrants from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States, on Tuesday (Feb. 7).
