She has frequently shown off her rapping skills, so when word got around that she would be the next guest on “Carpool Karaoke” with The Late Late Show’s James Corden, expectations were high. And, of course, she didn’t disappoint.
Under the premise of giving James Corden a tour of the White House, Obama jammed out to hits such as Stevie Wonder’s “Signed Sealed Delivered (I’m Yours),” Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” and “This Is For My Girls,” a for-charity single the illustrious First Lady reportedly commissioned for her Let Girls Learn initiative, which seeks education for underprivileged adolescent girls around the globe.
Missy Elliott also crashed the party to contribute a verse to “This Is For My Girls” and throw it back with Obama for a sassy performance of her song “Get Ur Freak On.”
