You can’t make this stuff up. During last night’s broadcast, CBS affiliate KTVA in Alaska got the segment of a lifetime when reporter Charlo Greene made a lasting impression on-air. After revealing she was the founder of the AK Cannabis Club and would be leaving TV to fight for marijuana legalization in the state, she made her grand exit: “Fuck it, I quit.” As the cameras cut to the news anchor, it’s obvious the cannabusiness had her flustered while a team of producers (presumably) scrambled in the back room, dropping multiple F-bombs themselves over what just happened. KTVA later apologized on Twitter but the clip is a must-see. Roll it above.
Viewers, we sincerely apologize for the inappropriate language used by a KTVA reporter on the air tonight. The employee has been terminated.
