Chi-raq star Nick Cannon said despite going through an amicable divorce with his superstar ex-wife Mariah Carey, he doesn’t think he’ll ever remarry.
“There’s like a 50/50 chance of a marriage working,” the 35-year-old actor said. “If it didn’t work out for you the first time, and you still survived it, you probably shouldn’t do it again.”
During an interview with DuJour, Cannon jokingly compared marriage to skydiving.
“I feel like marriage isn’t for everyone,” Cannon said. “A friend of mine put it the funniest way. He said ‘If you heard that there was a 50/50 chance of living or dying when you jump out of a plane, you probably wouldn’t go skydiving.'”
And while Cannon, father to 4-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, “highly doubts” he’ll ever tie the knot again, Mariah Carey has been dating Australian business man, investor and philanthropist James Packer.
