Despite what appeared to have been an amicable split from his estranged wife Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon recently revealed he “highly doubts” he’ll remarry.
“I feel like marriage isn’t for everyone,” the 35 year old actor said. “A friend of mine put it the funniest way. He said, ‘If you heard that there was a 50/50 chance of living or dying when you jump out of a plane, you probably wouldn’t go skydiving.”
Well, it appears as if that school of thought wasn’t something Carey subscribed to because Thursday (January 21) the music icon showed off her 35 carat engagement ring from her fiance, billionaire businessman, James Packer.
Upon learning of the news, the Chi-raq actor took to Instagram to wish the happy couple all the best, and prove he isn’t making monthly mortgage payments in Pettyville.
Such a classy move, Mr. Cannon. Respect.
