Nick Cannon’s hit MTV2 show Wild ‘N Out is normally about laughs and jokes for 30-minutes. But a certain guest might have gone too far with the punch lines during an appearance on the longstanding program.
VH1 reality stars Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez served as the next guests for season 8 of the comedic show, but according to TMZ, Cannon and Stevie nearly engaged in a heated altercation. The reason was a comment Stevie allegedly made about Cannon’s ex-wife, Mariah Carey during the “Wild Style” segment. He alluded to the notion that he had sexual relations with Carey, but now the debacle has prompted a response from the show’s creator.
Cannon took to Twitter to swiftly bury the eye-popping rumor, referencing the statement “all publicity is good publicity.”
“Apparently some people don’t understand the concept of Wildnout!” he wrote. “Thanks for the free publicity tho! Season 8 about to be crazy!”

Stevie J also squashed the news by taking to his Instagram account to post a quick picture with Cannon. “Much love to my bro @nickcannon had a blast at Wild N Out,” he wrote. “Much respect to my sis @mariahcarey for always rockin with me no matter what. God bless!!”
