After his ban from Bobbi Kristina’s funeral due to his suspect status in the investigation of her death, Nick Gordon took to a sandy coast to pay respects to his late girlfriend, according to People.
His mother, Michelle Gordon, told the magazine that the two of them visited Daytona Beach in Florida because the spot was a keepsake for the couple.
“He said the beach was always their favorite place to go,” Michelle said. “So he decided that he would honor her at a place that they both loved.”

The beach visit was the closest thing Gordon had to celebrating the 22-year-old’s life, as the ban prohibited him from doing so with her family and loved ones. ET Online reported that last week, Gordon sent a lamentable, crushing letter to the Houstons and Browns where he pleaded with them to allow his presence at her funeral services.
“I’m begging you both to please put your differences aside and allow me this chance,” the letter read. “Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there.” Apparently, her family wouldn’t fold, as Gordon was not seen in nor around the premises of the funeral.

Tensions between Gordon and her family are also still running critically high while investigators are still zeroed in on him as a key suspect regarding Bobbi Kristina’s death. The $40 million civil lawsuit filed by Kristina’s conservator Bedevil Hargrove has only strengthened hostility, as she accuses him of manipulating her and swiping over $11,000 from her bank account. In the civil case, Hargrove is also pressing for battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress on the late daughter of Whitney Houston.
As for Gordon, he is still rostering his legal team for the multimillion dollar lawsuit that, if found guilty, could pin him with murder.
