Ever since Nicki Minaj’s wax figure made its debut at the Las Vegas Madame Tussauds museum, many have found it difficult to keep their hands off the replica, which showcases The Pinkprint emcee on all fours.
Rumors began to swirl Wednesday (September 9) the wax figure, which takes its likeness from Nicki’s asstastic “Anaconda” video, would be removed from the museum.
Billboard has confirmed Nicki Minaj isn’t going anywhere. A rep sent a letter to the publication insisting “the set has merely been adjusted.”
In August, museum officials said it would install extra security in hopes to prevent the inappropriate fan photos that were being taken, and also mentioned a new set design.
“We are taking immediate steps to ensure more staff are present in this area and that the set around this particular figure is redesigned so that a picture like this cannot be taken again.”
