This Friday (Dec. 21), former child actor Orlando Brown will sit down with Dr. Phil for an intervention-style interview. According to TMZ, the That’s So Raven star’s intervention was reportedly set up by a friend of Brown’s whose concerns continue to grow.
“I called in because Orlando- he has a mental problem and he’s burnt so many bridges [that] no one wants to deal with him,” Orlando’s friend says in the teaser for the show. “If you can’t help, he does not have a chance.” However, the intervention is not one-sided, as the friend says that Brown certainly does want help.
While sitting down with Dr. Phil, Brown sports snake-eye contacts. Elsewhere in the teaser, it is revealed that Brown believes he is Michael Jackson’s son.
In October, Brown checked into a rehab facility for substance abuse and mental health issues, however, sources tell TMZ that the stint was short lived. His troubles have grown since his Disney Channel days ended. He was arrested for breaking into a restaurant, as well as for getting into an argument at a hotel. Through the years, Brown has been arrested for domestic battery, prostitution, weapons and drug possession.
We’re hoping that he can get the help he needs.
