On Monday (Nov. 21), the legendary vocalist announced the official “You Name It” website, which houses tees, mugs, aprons, cutting boards and more in light of remixes made to “Hold My Mule.” A video of her 1988 performance of the song made its rounds on the web last week with celebrities like Chris Brown creating fun and hilarious challenges with a hip-hop twist.
Sales from the merch will go to Cesar’s ministry as well as other to feed the less fortunate.”We plan to pick various ministries each week to make sure donations are made to feed folks, “Greens, Beans, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Lamb, Ram…U Name It” and to help our ministry as well,” she captioned her Facebook announcement.
In addition to Cesar copping her coins, she was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Allstate Gospel Superfest: A Holiday Special, which aired on TV One on Sunday (Nov. 2). The event was hosted by Vivica A. Fox and featured performances by acts like J MOSS, Jonathan Butler, Karen Clark-Sheard, and Alexis Spight and more.
