The world of sports had an interesting week in entertainment. From Derek Fisher and Matt Barnes’ alleged altercation to Victor Cruz’s reported infidelity, the Pop Life Podcast trio tackled all aforementioned subjects.
They later switched gears to discuss Amber Rose’s “Slut Walk” event. The march, which occurred on Saturday (Oct. 3) in California, was geared towards raising awareness for women who’ve been slut shamed, sexually assaulted, or raped. She also gave an emotional speech on her own experience of being slut-shamed, and forgave Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa for their past insensitive comments.
“I want to forgive Kanye for what he said about me. I want to let all that negativity go,” she said. “I also forgive Wiz for what he said. Wiz actually apologized to me already, so I have forgiven him. I suggest that you guys do the same, and I’ll tell you why: because they’re ignorant at times. People are ignorant, and you have to be the bigger person, and be the positive person to forgive and move on and help other people around you that have been through the same thing.”
