Gearing up for the release of a new EP, the Oxymorrons have teamed with VIBE to premiere their brand new song, “See Stars.”
Delving into their insecurities, struggles and mental health issues in an uplifting way, “See Stars” is a refreshingly honest and musically solid track.
Committed to genre-blending and defying the arbitrary rules of classification, the crew drop bars over electric strums and steady drum.
“This song came together very organically as we opened up about our years hustling and struggling. It’s brutally honest about the current state of the world and how the music industry can be” the group reveals. “We’re using our voices to not only liberate ourselves but liberate others. We’re about to see the fruits of our labor and the world will see stars.”
Over the years, the rock-turned hip-hop group has toured and opened for the likes of Lupe Fiasco, Waka Flocka Flame, Ludacris, Rihanna, and more. Currently, the Oxymorrons are completing their “Rap Is The New Rock” national run.
