Outkast stans, some bad news. The hip-hop duo’s former manager, Queen Latifah, took to Twitter Thursday (Jan. 16) and apologized for getting timelines into a frenzy with whispers of a new OutKast album. The actress/rapper/talk show host denies the claim that she said the two are working on something new.
PS: the rumor mill says I predicted an @Outkast album…except I didn’t. Sorry to get twitter a flutter. XO

According to Huffington Post, Latifah reportedly told Howard Stern that the southern duo, who will be headed on the road for 40 confirmed concert dates, have a busy itinerary. “They’re chilling,” Queen Latifah allegedly said. “They’re doing movies. They’re about to work on a new album.” Unfortunately, the only concrete OutKast news is their upcoming appearances. With plans to hit the stage at Coachella and Governors Ball during their upcoming festival run, the ATLiens are showing their appreciation to their fans after 20 years in the game. “Returning to the stage together is the most exciting way for us to thank everyone for their 20 years of supporting OutKast,” Andre 3000 said.
